Salpausselkä Geopark Tour - May 29th - #irideforcancer

Join Nordic Gravel Series and Breakaway cc ambassador Laura Annala for a gravel introduction ride in the Geopark area. Start and finish in Vääksy (Ranskalainen Kylläkauppa) at 10:00h. Scenic gravel route of 57km.

We welcome entry level riders for a social ride and a drink with Laura. All benefits go to the Cancer Foundation via the #irideforcancer initiative.

Laura is cycling for cancer awareness, with all the people affected by cancer in her mind. Especially young adults who have heard the worst possible news.

"I find it important to talk about my experiences going through brain cancer surgery, 9 months of treatments and 3 years of rehabilitation to bring hope to the ones getting the worst possible diagnosis. Even after a bad prediction, there can be years to live." Laura rides to raise funds for the Cancer Foundation. Only research and treatments can continue to improve the prognosis of cancer diagnoses. "Going forward in life doesn't mean you should forget where you came from. I found a way to support and help other sufferers and will continue to do so."

Laura will be participating in all Nordic Gravel Series events this season to raise awareness. The NGS will support initiatives to raise money for the Cancer Foundation and cancer research.
